OUR PANDEMIC EMERGENCY
RESPONSE DURING THE
NORMAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS CLOSING

In 2020, as the pandemic swept through Norman, schools across our community closed.
For many teens, school was their primary source for nutrition.
The Pantry Partners team jumped into action,
setting up an emergency food pantry
at the Norman Masonic Lodge, ensuring teens access to food
and other essential resources.

"BACK TO SCHOOL" EVENT 2020

FREE Back to School Supplies for our students in need.

Pantry Partners, Inc. partnered with Laundry Love Norman for their "Back to School" Event offering free laundry services and resources to those in need. Through generous community donations, our team was able to serve 40 K-12 students, from 20 different schools. We distributed 480 snack items, 675 school supply items, and 30 new backpacks! There were lots of BiG smiles and valuable connections made. We appreciate everyone at Laundry Love Norman's heart for our community. Thanks for inviting us. We had a blast! Thank you to our team of Volunteers for their dedication and love for our students in need. A special "thank you" to our "Push-Ups For Donations" team!

We were excited to be invited to Stash's community connect event.
We shared our vision and passion for ending chronic hunger in a welcoming space.
We made some great new friends and enjoyed engaging with many of our regular supporters.
